Thank you. I have some fruit spray I will use that has pyrethrin. I think it’s bonide fruit tree spray. Will that work to kill oriental fruit months?

Pheromone disruption is a much better option for controlling the adults than a pesticidal spray, but it unfortunately would have had to be done earlier in spring during the moth mating season. OFM is also notorious for developing resistance to various pesticides.

At this point, you‘re dealing with larva and not adult moths, and your best bet is to remove damaged fruit and foliage (if they’re in the shoot tips as well).

Thanks for the link. This is the first year our peach tree has produced fruit, I’ll be sure to use the pheromone method next year for better results!

From the additional pics, it looks like you have a lot more going on than just OFM. It's difficult for me to discern whether it's fungal/bacterial disease or additional insect problems, so I would defer to some of the more experienced orchardists on here.

Late to this discussion but I lost all my fruit this year same issue and I caught some of the buggers looking like a hard shell chubby spider. Some of the fruits dropped young and others stayed on but damaged and oozing. I froze all the fruits and fed them to my worms.

Not quite sure what to do for next season but the gig is up in my yard I have never had this in years past with 8 varieties of stone trees.

dnedd: It looks like you got hit by plum curculio there, especially since you have photos of them in action.
