I counted 31 buds on it this morning, but it's a few days away from blooming. It's going to be gorgeous! I'm pretty excited it's done so well, considering I stopped fertilizing it about a month ago.

I'm jealous. I LOVE them but won't put one in my garden because of the dog.

Yeah, dogs are not too particular about what they eat. You could try putting a fence up around it, far enough away from the plant so the dog can't reach it. My roommate's dog had to be fenced out of my room because she would eat the poop out of the cat litter box. This is just one reason I don't like dogs.
