Bathroom vanity size advice

Hello, we are going to redo our 50s bathroom, the only bathroom in the house, its about 8 x 5 feet. We currently have a left side sink vanity that is 45 inches. Im debating whether to go with the same layout (45 inch custom cabinets with left hand sink) it will be butted up to a corner on one side. This will give us the most cabinet space, and because of the toe kick i dont have to worry about stuff getting underneath the cabinet. I dont have too much time for this project and dont want to agonize over color schemes with cabinet and countertops and all that, so i was thinking of maybe just going with a premade one from costco of a 42 inch freestanding vanity. That would help a bit on picking color schemes since its a starting point. Cuz im not 100 percent sure what i want. The bathroom needs to get done in the time we are able to do it. But i would have an inch or 2 of space on the side. And have to move the sink plumbing over to the center (which is not a big deal because the price would even out between the 2 options), i cannot find a left side sink 42 inch vanity with a single hole faucet cutout. They seem to be all 8 inch center faucet holes. And i did just buy a new faucet recently that we absolutely love. So i want to keep that. The downside to the 42 inch is basically i dont feel there is as much space inside the cabinet, and its freestanding so i already know a bunch of stuff is gonna get lost under there. And theres only 28 inches of floor space from vanity to opposite wall for me to reach or try to vacuum under there. Anyways sorry if this is a bit all over the place. If it was your only bath in the house what would you do?
