Coastal style always seems to have me looking for highly textured neutral-colored lamps: wicker, rope, seagrass, and the like.

Turns out, the dimensions listed for the end table were incorrect. I was looking at dimensions listed under "specs" but in the description it listed different dimensions, and that matches other listings for the same table. It's a narrow, deep space and I was so happy to have that table decided :(

Here are a couple other tables I found. Ideally, the table would be about 28-29" tall, 16-17" wide and 20-30" deep.

If anyone wants to weigh in or has other suggestions, please feel free. This search for an end table/nightstand is getting ridiculous.

some sleeping, so do you have liking for vintage eyelet to fluff up, or feminine vibe? not that the metal frame will show much but you could vary lamp (instead of more dark metal)..?

I would buy all the large items first and do the lamps last.

The remainder of the items in the room will be an easel, a small table for supplies, a guitar on a stand, the ottoman pictured, a music stand, perhaps a chair if the ottoman isn't comfortable enough to sit on. I’m waiting on these items to be delivered so I can see if a small dresser will fit as well. I plan to put a rug in, but as indecisive as I am, that's going to take some time for me to choose.

So, the small end table and lamp are really the next pieces of furniture/decor I need to choose.

I like the first blue lamp but I’d choose a shade like the color on the hobnail. I think you need some soft ness to your room and would add curtains to the plantation shutters keeping with your blue and white theme to offset the beige. This picture is maybe a little more cottage than you might want, but the choice you made definitely goes with the theme. I might also spray paint the bed frame a lighter color.

danielle, drapes are a great idea. I wasn’t sure about pairing the shutters with drapes, but after looking at some photos I think I like the combo. I also think I like the first blue lamp more.
