Lighting fixture choices has been *the* hardest part of this renovation process. Can't imagine how people do it in a big house! I only have a measly small 2BR/2BA apartment.

Below is a picture of our floorplan and rough dimensions of each space. Each green circle is an overhead fixture, then there's a wall fixture in each of the two bathrooms. Ignore the red boxes around the lights. Light selections below. All lights are on dimmers, cabinet/door hardware is polished chrome for handles/bath fixtures and satin chrome/nickel for door hardware.

Let me know if anything seems totally off/needs to be changed before these get installed :)

Foyer

10W/D x 7H, polished nickel.

Foyer is pretty small. Wanted something with a little detail since you can see this from the couch. Will do a decorative bulb as not a lot of light is needed.

Kitchen Island Pendant

13W/D x 14H centered over a 48W" x 24"D island (it's counter height not bar height)

Want to keep it simple (and cheap!) since we don't know for sure where dining table will go. Will invest more in floor light for living area
