Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Remodeling bathroom. I want a pocket door for the commode. Contractor says it can be done. I want a one-light etched glass door in a pocket. Last time I did a pocket door I bought the door the contractor brought the pocket (ordered to be hardware-mounted from the top. One side was 6-panel the other side had a recessed mirror.) . This contractor said that the door and pocket must be bought together and that if I can't find a door I want with a pocket I can't have it. Doesn't seem right?

What?! You've already done one yet you're wondering if the contractor you have now is giving you solid advice?! My advice is to get another contractor, one who has experience thinking outside the box!

You would think but it took me 3-years to find a contractor...and he is the second contractor I have talked to this round who told me the same thing.
