Dining Room Destroyed— Redo

We recently suffered severe weather that caused a tree to fall on our house and consequently we lost our dining room ceiling and many things in that room. I loved our dining room prior to this but am now considering changing Styles a bit as I purchase new chairs/rugs/fixtures. What remains: dining table (love!), sideboard (also love!), and the current wall color and flooring. I can’t decide if i would buy the same Seagrass rug, chairs and light fixture again. Having no design expertise, I can’t decide what my style aesthetic is, but I know what I like when I see it. I would love advice based on this picture of our old dining room as to what we could change to update a bit. I’ll include below some pictures of things that i like and am considering. Thank you so much for all advice and opinions!

I think the rug and chairs you posted would look great with the table. The sideboard seems like odd-man-out. I think you need to bring that color into the room in other places to connect it better to the room. I can't tell if it is black or a very dark green, but I think a rug that picked up that color would tie the sideboard in better than the rug you proposed. The rug could be similar in style, just a different colorway.
