counter stools and dining table

I am beginning to furnish our new home. Looking for ideas. Thinking about these stools for the island. Can anyone recommend a dining table that would work with this style? The dining table will be directly behind the stools.

I would do a huge rug and I love the idea of the Saarinen table with the wood top as for stools I never like stools that need to be dragged across the floor so I always look for pedestal swivel stools . I think your space needs some color so something like these might work

I'd get a country pine farm table...,same wood tone as stools , a bit chunky in size and shape and lend a comfortable feeling to the kind of closed in nature of the kitchen and zone beyond. the stools are refreshing so carry that through: I think it's that wood tone. You can make pine a little dressy when you need to....it handles your vintage table decor/linens /candles etc . I think you'd like it.

This is a gorgeous space. Beautiful and unique. I don't really see country here though. I'd look at something modern with a perhaps with a tiny touch of farmhouse.

What do you think about some MCM? I’m not really into country. My floors look very different in the pic. They do not look so busy in person.

There are some gorgeous stools from industry west. Mcm leaning. I’ve got my eye on a few walnut/leather combos for our kitchen.

Beautiful space! I think a tulip table would look great. It’d soften the rectangles in the kitchen and complement the arch between rooms. Here are two I like at the bottom. The Room & Board has many top options and three metal base options. I like the base on the Rove table as it’s a bit more organic and it appears the wood top is a good match for your living/family room beams.

Wysmama, MCM could work here, but I don't think it quite captures the flavor of the space. I'm looking at the crown molding and the support legs on the island and wanting something a bit more special, for want of a better word.

think Henry V111 castle dining hall...not colonial Williamsburg....the dainty details are getting lost with your arch....beams...dark floor....darkish space. At least get the two end chairs with arms and higher back..maybe some bold upholstered fabric for all the chairs...Cream colored parsons chairs with narrow legs? no....
