i decided to grow pink common milkweed for monarchs but i noticed we just entered summer and since i didn't have much time because they suggested putting them in a refrigerator for at least 4 weeks and then wait a few more weeks for them to sprout!! i wanted them to be established before the winter comes by and kills them off for the year. I put them in them in the fridge in a baggie with a wet paper towel for about 15 days and i took them out and sat them on the counter for 1 day and within that 1 day roots starting shooting out so i planted them in the garden. They sprouted 3 days after planting! i don't know why people take the time to do 4 weeks in fridge... i was shocked. They are already getting their true leaves
