Fireplace Reno Ideas

Hello - We are looking to redo our fireplace in a MCM/modern way. We are currently renovating (as you can see from the pics!). The kitchen, which you can see from this space, will have flat slab walnut cabinets and white quartz. We were originally think a stone front but have been considering wood or tile for a more modern look. Appreciate any ideas!
