Still nice clumps, Kay, although we are slowing down on clump shows, aren’t we? Filled to Overflowing has such a pretty color. And knowing you, you will love WC Flames of Haiti color! Good rebloom clump on Spoken in Parables.

Definitely slowing down....On the other hand, before it got so unbearably hot and steamy I dug up a couple of plants and planted three this morning....working my reorganization as the slowdown starts. Crazy Ivan has put up a couple of rebloom scapes now.

As yo said I do love the hot ones, and the cascades, so WC Flames of Haiti does suit me. Like I said, I liked yours that you weren't liking, so no surprise.

You never did tell me how tall your yellow gets..

Ah me bible study tonight...bettter get off the plants and on to that, I guess.

There's Pink Tarantula again - that form is one that draws me. And am hopeful that the Ruby Spider seedlings I have will have some of that brilliance of color that yours shows.

Wonderful clumps and several of my favorites! Lovely clumps of Boy Crazy and Shelby, love Jelly Roll-mine has its 1st scapes!-and of course Pink Tarantula. My Filled to Overflowing did not have many blooms this year, your is so pretty.

I looked up Whip City Flames of Haiti, but wrote Hades--a Kay slip? But I think that's a better name. Pink Tarantula had good bud count. And Laura Harwood is still going strong.

Thank you Mantis...Funny, but I make so many of them...Burned my brain out when I taught nurses chemistry labs; I had three sections of 40 and learned all their names...amazed them because in Universiity, that doesn't happen. Now? I Mess up flower names. Pink tarantual has really done well. I have seen photos of big clumpsand they are something to see. Laura usually blooms an awful lot here. It aopparently likes its situation and the climate.

Jelly Roll Morton , Jelly Roll Morton , Jelly Roll Morton , maybe if I say the name enough times and throw that thought out to the universe I can find that plant available here. I have found it on one site but they just moved their gardens so not available this year ...harumpf ! Love Pink Tarantula and also Brad's find of Purple Tarantula . Ugh sometimes I wish there wasn't a border between our two countries.

Well it is a pretty one, and I can understand why you want it. Purple Tarantula is another really pretty one. I moved it last year but it still did pretty well this year and will do better next...Pink Tarantula is improving each year..Next year is the leap year. Thank you Julia. I have quite a few putting up re-bloom scapes; some of them have several so that extends the season. I am already moving some of the plants around or out and new ones in for next year. I seem to reorganize every year.

WC Flames of Haiti and Jelly Roll Morton are stand outs for me. I also like Spoken in Parables......... You have so many that rebloom. I'm sure it is partly all the TLC you give them.............Maryl

Well Maryl, You know those are favorites I do love orange ones, and Jelly Roll is pretty and photogenic. but, I don't know Maryl, but I suspect plats just like the stupid climate...heat little cold spells of warm weather even in what is supposed to be winter...I do mulch and weed and groom then quite consistently. I do keep up with the soil PH, but it is luckily in their range though at the top (6.8) so no extra work there. Probably, most important is that i do water when it is dry.
