Green and Pink bicolor rose

I got this Green and Pink rose from the local nursery. It was sold as a mini, but seems rather large...plant is already 2 feet, blooms about 3”. Anyone know the name?

Could you ask the nursery who the grower is ? Then maybe you can do some detective work from there ? It is really pretty and unique!

I did an advanced search on Help Me Find putting in green as primary color and pink as secondary color. One miniature, Infinity Evergreen, was listed and it has 2.75” blooms so this could be it. Can you post a fully open bloom to see if yours same as the HMF pictures of open blooms as it looks pretty petal packed. We had a white and green Hybrid Tea with huge unscented blooms in the yard when I was a kid, so I have a bit of a fondness for green roses. Never have been able to find that rose of my childhood on HMF though. Here is link to Infinity Evergreen.

Sharon, you brought my attention to Infinity Evergreen’s introduction date of 2018, last year, in Denmark. So now it seems a little unlikely that it is Ben’s rose, unless the place he got it brought it in as a new variety this year. It is very sweet with all those old fashioned petals and pink highlights!

Ben, I love the coloring. It is so sweet and demure. It could go with anything. The leaves are beautiful as well.

Oh my, Infinity Evergreen is amazing! Why does it remind me of Wedding Cake Rose? The first photo on hmf, especially does. Maybe its a better bloomer than Wedding Cake too! Ben I hope yours is Infinity Evergreen! These mini roses are really starting to grow on me. I think it might be my next obsession :) ♡

Thanks for the replies! Until I find the real name this little rose will be named ‘Peppermint Pistachio’ , after two great flavors of ice cream =)

    Sharon,

I like green and pink together too, this little rose really caught my eye at the local nursery, it was clearance for $1, and now it’s grown into three nice plants! I gave one to a friend just today.

    Jen

Great idea, maybe I can ask the nursery manager where the little novelty came from.

    Stephanie,

That Evergreen Infinity looks amazing. My rose is very much classic HT in form, I’d love to have both! I have Saint Patrick, which can be quite green at times too.

    Jin,

I’m glad you like it, I always like odd roses

    Sultry,

It would provide great camouflage for Tree Frogs, shame I don’t have any!
