All you need to do is spray it with Organocide 3 in 1. It works wonders and is safe for use near people, pets and on edibles. It won’t harm beneficial insects either. Home Depot sells it and it works great, I use it all the time.

Have you checked to see if insects are dead?

Well, how do you tell? I figured since more were showing up, they were alive?

Well, if you have more then your stuff didn't work. I would use malathion and be done with it.

Sometimes the scale even when dead will stick to the limbs (often on the undersides where you dont see) and literally have to be scraped off if you want to be sure........hence the hand wiping mention
