yay. First is at top of hill near patio. Then, back of patio.

Chairs are an attempt to keep 80-lb pup from trampling new additions. Obviously not working so well if you could see them. Sigh.

Small pathetic garden next to door-chipmunks have tunneled under it, so this is the one thing that seems to be doing well. I hate chipmunks.

Also front near doors (kitchen door and main door are at 90 degrees of one another and only about 12 feet apart. Stupid.

Will do another post for the rest.

All the rest are in the front yard.

The bed above used to run all the way to the back, but neighbor cut down all his trees and my giants (Empress Wu, Vulcan, and other large ones were not happy. They are now toward the back of the patio in the back, but they haven't regained their size yet. :-(

Wish I knew what all these are. I used to have them labeled, but the dogs wrecked the labels and since they were metal one of them cut his pad on a label, so I got rid of them. I am trying to start writing down what I plant where, but I am not so good at keeping up with it.

Love your lush hostas, of course to correct weed you need more of hostas. ..lol

I think dogs respond better to clearly defined beds some raised beds or nice borders seems helpful in my garden.

Looks great! I enjoyed the tour of your yard. I can relate to the weeds, I need to weed and then start over and do it again. They are having a stellar year!

Yes, chipmunks are awful. Our front walk has dropped 3 inches and is has to be due to all their tunnels. I wish I could get rid of them.

Lindalana, you are right about the way to control those weeds! I have a bunch of new ones on order from the Boyz at Naylor Creek, but not sure when they will arrive. I suspect it could be a while.
