Looks like the former shutters left their mark on the brick. Try a serious pressure washing to see if the unprotected brick can be brought close to the color of the brick where the shutters were. Then see if there is a local staining service that can bring the two tones even closer together. Double windows don't need shutters. I would remove all the lattice and increase the size of your porticoes. Teal will work well on house and shutters if you have to put them back on.

Dark blue, black and brown are not “pops of color” in my book! But maybe they are in yours. But you definitely need to get the brick taken care of first: the shutters kept the brick from aging as much as the exposed brick. I think there’s a special cleaning method for brick—make sure you use a reputable company.

Are you painting the siding?

If that’s the front door, it definitely needs a more impressive entrance. Probably a more substantial portico with new light. New house numbers (stylish ones) and a new mailbox (if that’s in use)..
