Your link doesn't work. Just hi PHOTO below the box and download onto Houzz, but their software is buggy. Sometimes I wait for many minutes for it to change from a half tone to full color. That shows it's in your posting.

Hmmm, the Google Photos link works for me. Houzz software is super-buggy; when I click Edit on my post I get a 404 page. Anyway, I'll try again to post a pic in this comment.

Would it be possible to build a shed roof portico parallel to the garage roof but a bit higher? The main runoff from garage would go wherever it currently goes and the new shed roof would direct runoff to the left of the entry.

To have a portico you're going to have to rethink how the roof lines on both sections (the house and what I'm assuming is the garage). I think this is a job for an architect and it won't be inexpensive. How badly do you want this? :-)

Thanks lisaam, that's not a bad idea! My wife thought maybe a gable roof portico to mirror the gable to the left. I thought maybe a flat roof portico at the same height as the garage gutter. The front of it could be supported by pillars/posts on either side of the sidewalk. This would also serve as shelter when walking between the front door of the house and the side door of the garage.
