Pink Aloha

Pink Aloha looks good in your garden, I’ve read mixed reviews. I don’t remember seeing Graphic Art, quite striking. Ruby Lipstick and Toucan Sam are my favorites today. Your gardens are looking great this year!

One good thing I’ve noticed so far this season with blooming being late, almost no splotching. Early last season was a disaster, very little was worth photographing for the first two or so weeks.

wow, Magic Of Oz here never looks like yours. Seems like yours is all washed out with no variation of color. Heat? I'm hoping Vulcan Logic does better here this year otherwise it is on the "out of here" list. I like the pic of Royal Girls. Nice color as does Butter Cream.

Your Ruby Lipstick is looking great this season! Mine still has not fully recovered from last year's groundhog tunnel collapse. I always like When You Get to Ashville when you post it. That's too bad that it doesn't like hot sun. Butter Cream is such a striking bloom. I think it's probably the best of the Whatley yellows. You know I'm fond of Pink Aloha, Forty Days and Reckless Girls since I grow them. Lovely photos, all of them!

Very nice clumps and striking blooms. Do you attribute larger blooms to rainier spring? They do indeed seem larger this year. Again, lots of variety here.

Yes, the rain has produced extra large blooms. I saw a bloom of Sarah Christine yesterday that was at least the size of a dinner plate. Well, Sherry, there is plenty of splotching here. Of course, our bloom schedule was about normal. We did not have the cold spring that people had north of here. Our last freeze was early-to-mid April.

Magic of Oz is in full sun here, already from dawn, and the pink markings are quickly lost. Nice green throat, though. I think I took this later in the morning. Probably should be located in part shade. Vulcan Logic had a number of off years. As I noted earlier, a lot of things are doing well, I think, because they liked the protracted cold of winter. Some exceptions, though.

Pink Aloha too is looking better than last year. Not very tall scapes, but not beneath the foliage. Really not a plant for the North.

LOL on the first photo! Today was really one of the dog days of summer. Poor pup looks like I felt when I came inside from weeding all day. Temps in the 90's are not my thing. All your daylilies are looking grand. And I like them ALL, with my favorites being Butter Cream, Graphic Art, Royal Girls and Cloud Rider. Blessed Art Thou is a favorite in my garden too.

Celeste, I was surprised no one else mentioned Loper. He was sunning himself. There was shade available also, which he later moved to. Such a hard life!

Ashwood Magic Crystal is one of my favorites of this group. The form on Victorian Lace is very good. I'm partial to Pink Aloha as I grow her too. Cloud Rider is another pink that I've not seen before. Pretty..........Maryl

El Shaddai is looking very good, also Sweet Isabella. Blessed Art Thou has done well here also, and I saw a rebloom scape on it today. Vulcan Logic has had more off years than on here, but is an on year here too. Butter Cream is very pretty too.

You have some lovelies Sweet Isabella looks good. I really like toucan Sam and your Davissons. Magic of Oz is a very pretty clump.
