I am trying to determine if I can stain or dye the styrofoam "fuzz" which I meticulously breakdown from old styrofoam I have around. I just hate the whiteness in my planters. I don't want to use vermiculite because I want the whole hypertufa/papercrete/styrofoam planters to be created with waste materials (except of course the cement).
Has anyone experimented with styrofoam fuzz? Any information will be so appreciated.
