Arabesque tiling issues - variable grout lines and color

I just had some kitchen work and my contractor had a nightmare time with Arabesque tiles. I get it and have read they are not easy. Injust want some feedback considering the grout lines vary greatly in depth and also grout color. Should ai be disappointed?
