Lovely Senorita has not always been so lovely, with complexion problems.
Shores of Time too doesn't always look good.
Nor does Special Agent
Black Falcon Ritual actually looks good in front of Isabelle Rose, but I know the stucco background will be a problem.
Memphis can be astounding.Tropical Fruit Loops looks good in the sun.
I really never tire of Linda Sierra.

I am waiting for clouds, as I want a better picture of Memphis. But the
housekeeper says there are guests coming. I see them coming to the pool
now, all younger women. Rather on the chubby side, as many of his female
guests are, probably business associates. I think I better leave, as
the deadheading is done and the sun is persistent, without any cloud
blessing. The chubby female guests may not like someone around the pool.
In contrast, the young men he entertains have been incredibly buff. I
rather believe they like to display themselves. Well, we are off.

I quite like Alpha and Omega. So many beautiful clump photos. Regina Sitko is one I may have to add. Two Sue's is beautiful, and Linda Sierra. I am really regretting not getting it last year. I want another large white to replace one that does not do well. Thinking on Isabella Rose. As you said, that is not easily seen with that wall, but looks wonderful with Black Falcon Ritual. Ashwood Plum Crazy too is lovely.

I'm hurrying to leave for a quick 3 days to the coast of Maine but had to comment here before I head out. I'm hoping to escape this unbearable humidity. I love this post! So many here that I love. Standouts to me are Regina Sitko (always 'wows' me), Ashwood Plum Crazy (I see the Jerry Hyatt influence) and Aquas Azul (love purples). I also like that Painted Demon shot....so much color and great form. Great post and I always enjoy your commentary:)

So many wonderful clump shots. I agree that Regina Sitko looks great in that shot. Two Sues does seem to be prolific. I love Memphis bllooms and need to move mine as an encroaching tree is causing problems. And I agree about Linda Sierra.

Two Sues has captured my attention this season, a lovely clump here. Black Falcon Ritual is looking really good today. So many great looking plants. Is Alpha and omega a poor performer? It’s a lovely bloom.

Regina Sitko and Two Sues are abundant and glorious at the estate - just like they are here. Those Memphis blooms are astounding. When they're good, it's hard to find a pink that beats them. I still don't have mine in the best place. It's close to the foundation but overshadowed by the vigorous Stenciled Infusion. Alpha and Omega is one that I would like to add eventually. The hot ones look good in your sun shots - especially Flaming Flamingo and Painted Demon. Beautiful post, and your commentary about the chubby young women and buff males was so funny!

Sherry, I don't think there is any problem with the vigor of Alpha and Omega. It just is a newer plant that is in demand.

Stencilled Infusion is anything but vigorous here. Hardly has held its own; few buds. Be wary of recommendations for this one, but it is too early to fully evaluate.

Well, today, there were at least a dozen of the group at the pool. They were friendly, but silly. There were older women there too. Seems they were celebrating a birthday and got to use the place as part of a business connection. No one was the least bit interested in the daylilies, even though they were very beautiful and within 10 feet of the pool (couldn't possibly be missed). All just backdrop for splashing and drink consuming. The only reaction I got was "What are those things?"

Beautiful flowers. I tried to pick a favorite but couldn't.

So many pretties! Ashwood Plum Crazy, Memphis!!!, Two Sues are my picks today. That Flaming Flamingo looks great in the sun!

May I ask what camera do you use?

I use the Sony rx100iii. It will fit in your pocket, but gives great color rendition with little fuss. Photos may require some adjustment to exposure in photoshop, depending on the light conditions. Ain't cheap, but at around $500 is less than a DSLR and doesn't require buying a separate lens. Not very good for telescopic pictures, unless you want to buy the latest model at over $1000. I hate lugging around cameras. Cell phone cameras tend to jazz up the colors, though they are getting better and better. The RX100i is available for considerably less and is not that different from the 100iii model except that it doesn't have a viewfinder (which I never use for bloom pictures).

Linda Sierra looks good. Here I think our hot sun may not be to her liking. Time will tell......Memphis and Tropical Fruit Loops round out my 3 favorites............Maryl

I remember seeing that name recommended! Good photos. Alas too pricey for me :D Even the first version, or good phones for that matter (( Looking at Sony too but way cheaper haha but bad reviews are scary. Mine is malfunctioning more and more so I do need a new one.

Nice photos! I was wanting Alpha and Omega but your picture shows it to be not as dark as other pictures. I was wanting something hardy to cross with Tom Adams, but maybe it's not one I need.

Regina Sitko is lovely. I also like Painted Demon (Bob would like that too) and Ashwood Plum Crazy.

Those ladies just didn't know what they were missing. I would have been over in the flowers looking at every one.

Painted Demon has no more than 6 or 7 buds, but this is its first year and it is not a cropper, so flowers are spaced over time. It will never be high bud count. Very intense coloration and large flower. At the estate, I find that the location is a bit more protected (maybe because it is walled). I will soon see Alpha and Omega in the garden rather than a pot. The coloration I have seen so far is very accurately captured in this photo. But it's hot here.
