Sempervivum dying

Hello everyone,

My Sempervivum is turning brown and dying, as you can see in the pictures, I have a second sempervivum closer to the window of the veranda, but that one is also turning brown, albeit at a slower rate. I water my sempervivi once every 2 weeks, always making sure no water remains in the pots. What do you guys think is the problem?

Appears to be a severe mealybug infestation.

Plant it outside and all it's troubles will vanish. Partial shade to begin with. Natural predators will take care of the mealybugs. Sempervivums don't do well indoors.

There's also a sedge type weed and an Epilobium growing in the pot which implies it's damper than it needs to be.
