So we had this crack in our house that needed to be filled (in the garage in the foundation) we've been putting it off and finally got around to having it fixed. Looks great, crack is no longer a problem. But to fix it our contractor had to dig outside, opposite the crack, to ensure he could fill that side of it too (makes sense). Unfortunately for me that other side is smack dab in the middle of one of my front gardens! His guys were very careful about removing the plants and the root balls and digging only in the area they had to. I did lose a JFK rose but frankly I think it was dying anyways (not enough sun).

I was really anxious about putting everything back, but decided to make lemonade out of lemons (I mean plus the benefit of getting the crack fixed lol). So I was able to completely re-organize the front garden since I had never been satisfied with how it looked. I'm much happier now with the new look, of course I have to refill some mulch and put the drip hose back in place but I'm very happy with my results.
