Fireplace Mantel

Hello. I have a fireplace that was just installed that measures 62” in width and top depth of 8”.

i need advise on the size mantel I should get. There’s one that is 72” wide and 9” in

depth x 4.75 high ( I love the color on this- white oak). And the other one is on a medium shade - 72” and 11” depth.

How much “s does it need on width and depth so it will look perfect? Is an inch extra depth ok?
