I would choose the ones on the lower pillar it is easy to read and with a solar light below it nice at night.

While I normally am in awe of groveraxle, I believe the house numbers would be most visible and easy to find on the column under the flag holder. Over the door might be too dark; closer to the ground might get covered up with plants. Cute, cute bungalow!

Sonja, I considered putting the numbers on the column, but that is a tapered craftsman column so it slants backwards. I agree that they would be hard to see over the door unless lighted. It would be easy enough to just keep the area around the front column free of foliage.

I would choose the vertical oriented numbers but mount them on the wall extension to the left of the staircase. It looks like a nice vertical surface and stands alone in the architecture.
