Put the bed between the windows with the rug pulled half way under it from the foot. Now shop for bedding with some of that orange in it - just a touch will do. Generally, in bedrooms, it is best to buy bedding first and work the colors out based on it. If you can return the rug, you might want to start the right way round. Easier to match paint and rugs to bedding than to try and find coverlets, etc. to match paint. Paint can be custom matched to fabrics.

Gray is ideal. However, where do you live? I live in Santa Fe, NM. Orange or chili pepper red is used here alot with teal and its gorgeous. The teal and the orange need to be the same value (depth of color).

grey would be nice with orange and also blue,it depend if you want more emphasize to the orange carpet or you want to blend the color , I would recommend to paint your iron bed to white and choose and bluish bedding whit orange and accent pillow ,what are other object of the room, what color are night stand any wall decor ?I recently but this bedding for my client and we used purple pillow and you can use orange accent.
I dont recommend to bring red to your pattern .change the paint color,I like color circle of different tone of grey and blue and accent of orange.

I forgot to attach the pic?

I live in Fl and I love teal. I think it might work.
I can't return the rug. It's too late. I wanted to use it in the leaving room, but lame me i didn't select the correct size, so the bedroom is the only other room it can be use.

I would use a white background or solid white comforter popped up with coral/orange pillows and Turquoise pillows, maybe a nice piece of white coral on display in the room. Consider possibly painting the bed frame Turquoise or silver/pewter. I think a classy beach like décor would look nice for Fla bedroom.

The bed frame is grey with just a touch of blue/green would this work or should I still paint the frame grey? I don't feel comfortable painting the frame white because the walls are white. I love bright colors.
