There must be something I can click that will take me to the first new post on a thread that I have been reading.

More broadly, isn't there a "Welcome, noob, how to use Houzz" forums instructional post stickied somewhere?

Seriously, I have no clue how to navigate this site. Goofball things like one thread I started gave me the option to select multiple forums and the next one only allowed Kitchens.

And when I log in, I can't chose the Advice forums. The option doesn't appear. I have to click on my Notifications tab, click on a thread, and then click on a forum to which the thread is tagged.

What am I missing here???

I use Houzz on a laptop, and also on browser mode (not the app) on mobile.
