I have a split leave entry way with a metal railing, I am going to have it redone black. There is a Fan/Light located above the stairway, not sure what finish to go with but was planning on matching the dinning room light (which I need style suggestions as there is a fine line between rustic and ugly). I need help choosing the finish for the interior door knobs, fan/light over the entry way and the dinning room light. I was planning on going with Black for everything as the doors will be white and I love that look but very limited with options. I am now considering mixing 2 metal finishes since I am having a very tough time finding a fan/light that is 48" wide in a black that I am happy with. Would brushed nickel work for the fan and the door knobs if the railing is black? Here is a photo of the entry way from the living room.

This is the correct wall color but we are replacing the flooring - laminate throughout.
