Not sure if should do another table but longer or maybe a bench

You could go either way - table or bench. If a bench then you'd put a large piece of artwork above it. If a table then you'd need a longer one than what you have.

Definitely go longer with whatever you decide to do. That little table looks downright puny. I'd go twice as long.

I would also remove that medallion thingy over the door.

I tend to like a simple console table longer and clean style, with stools under it.

Plus a couch table behind the brown leather sofa to draw you into the room and create a separation.

I just happened to have a couple of larger entry consoles on hand.

Is it possible to replace that section of tile with the wood/vinyl/laminate that adjoins it? You could then add a colorful runner in that space. I think that Grover's tables look great!

What's the purpose? Are you decorating that space to sit and take off your shoes or just need it decorated. I like the farmhouse photo that you posted and Grover's renditions.

Summer, bench and table both look good, so I would choose the one that would be more useful to you.

A slight adjustment: I moved the bench so it's off the entry tile and enlarged the doormat so it looks more like an actual rug.

It might matter if you have another console table. Hard to say without seeing everything in context. Sometimes spaces get too heavy with case goods and end up looking kind of institutional. It's good to ask what purpose each piece serves and if it's merely decorative, might something else, like a piece of art, work better for that purpose.

I prefer the table to the bench, but if you expect people to frequently remove shoes there, then the stool-under-the-console solution (with a basket for shoes) might be the right way to go.

Ok thanks . That table I have posted above looks like what I have across on other wall with pic collage above it . No one takes off shoes there ususally they will come in other door through mud room . That’s my front door . I’m thinking I may go with something like that colored console table that Grover posted so doesn’t look too much like my other table ? Sound good ? With a big mirror or artwork ?

Whatever you use, it should have some volume to it so that it can hold its own with that bulky recliner sofa. Chunky will work better; a skinny, leggy, glass table won't have the oomph to do the job!
