Anyone have their banana plant varieties DNA for their correct names. Scientists have had in the past a problem to ID bananas especially from around the Pacific Ocean. To date we are now doing DNA Tests and finding varieties of bananas with the wrong name. They thought to DNA banana plants they would get roughly 100 to 150 varieties, now they have over 1, 500 varieties and still counting. Every one should get a banana DNA test done, especially nurseries
