I was wondering where Kentucky Lucky was! So pretty in clump form. Pink Lemonade Party is a lovely pink. Looks like We Are the Champions and Miss Goldie Gold Digger are still going strong! Lots of pretties here!

Caroline Pale Face is my favorite of the pinks today. I like August Frost and North Wind Dancer. Miss Demeanor is interesting too. I’m hoping I get a bloom or two on my Coral Majority, it’s new here and want to see it in person. Please send some rain my way, didn’t think I would be asking this in April.

Walk in the Clouds was confused here, it sent up scapes early, then the scapes died before bloom. I really like the blooms on it. Beautiful clump of Ky Lucky. Kingdom Without End looks really nice, and Venus Flytrap.

All beautiful. I have Kentucky Lucky and always enjoy the late blooms. Coral Majority is here too but I think last year it really didn't do well. Your photo of it is spot on for the color.

You still have a lot of beauties. I must confess. I am threatening North Wind Dancer.. It has lovely blooms, but the scapes are pathetic here...little slender quivering things that keep their heads hanging down. Straighten up or ship out.

So is this an initial bloom on Coral Majority or a rebloom?......I like the colors on Miss Demeanor, and Pink Lemonade Party is always one of the prettiest pink colors I've seen......... Walk in the Clouds has the nicest form in your picture. Very clean and symetrical looking. I like it.................Maryl

Kay - The scapes on North Wind Dancer certainly don't care for north winds or southern winds. I love the blooms, so I'm willing to stake the scapes, if need be.

Maryl - Those are some of the last blooms on the original scapes of Coral Majority. I don't get rebloom any more since it's now in too much shade.

Nancy - That's too bad about your Walk in the Clouds. I'm not sure if I like Venus Flytrap or not. If it didn't bloom so late, I would definitely move it out.

Sherry - Carolina Pale Face was my favorite of the pinks too! The bloom was so large and round today!

Yay! Walk in the Clouds is blooming for you! (Of course, with mine it will be August). It will clump up fast. I have divided mine several times in the past couple years and the clump somehow looks bigger already. Waves Become Wings looks like a wonderful late. I wonder why it's not more popular.

Celeste - I've sung the praises of Waves Become Wings many times in the past. I don't know why it's not more popular. I love it, and will be moving it to better sun exposure next year.

As always Debra ........some really lovely shots of some really lovely flowers. Walk in the Clouds......so irridescent ! Just enough ruffles for me . Kentucky Lucky and Pink Lemonade! Yum ! Kingdom without End looks like it just might call to people across the gardens.

Signet - Kingdom Without End won't be calling to much of anyone this year since it's on short scapes. I do have one gripe with it. The bottom petal always recurves in a crooked manner. For someone who craves symmetry, that drives me crazy. It may just be used for hybridizing for a couple years and then moved out.

Kentucky Lucky bloomed here already at the end of June; is finished now. It must be confused. Kingdom Without End is slightly shorter than last year, but still at foliage height.

Ha Ha , Gee let me guess Debra , you are a type A personality . A type of personality that I can relate to as I am the same . It just niggles and niggles and niggles me until I can't hold back anymore and I rip a petal like that off. O r if something is out of order I have to put it in order or it will bug me no end .

I do the same in the garden . if a scape falls over it gets ripped out .If a larkspur gets too heavy for its blooms and droops ......sorry it's outta there ., a branch on a tree too low or sticks out too far .......yup .......... you guessed it ....it is outta there. So I can really relate to your "crazy" LOL !

Mantis and Signet - Kingdom Without End was newly planted in late May. I expect the scapes will be taller next year.

As usual, your pictures are lovely! The late daylilies are beginning to bloom here too. As much as I love North Wind Dancer and other lates, I hate to see the season wind down. Dixie Hummingbird is a new one to me. I'll have to look that one up.

Hoosier Nancy - Dixie Hummingbird is an old Kirchhoff. I've had it for years, and it's never multiplied past five fans. But I do like the 4-inch bloom. I'm going to try it in a different spot next year. It's never been as tall as registered here.
