Is your furniture facing a tv? Is there anyway that couch can be centered on the wall where it is now and then have the tables beside it going the same direction? Then a fabulous canvas with the colors from your rug centered over the couch and that area would be filled in nicely.

It's a brown leather chair. The reason the couch is positioned that way is because it is centered on the TV on the opposite wall. You could view it just fine if I slide it down.

I open to anything to the room to flow better for decorating.

Are you up to trying to move the couch to be centered and flip flopping the chair and chaise? Think how comfy it would be to watch the tv from that chaise right there! I would maybe try the colored pillow on the chaise, too, for a splash of color to break up that beige. The pillow on it just sort of fades away and that color will be ok on your leather.

Art is very personal.Abbyjean makes a good point - pull the chaise forward a bit so you can slide the sofa over at least out of the window range - both end tables turned sideways, and then go looking for good art. You also might watch for kilim pillows - pottery barn used to sell them. A large rustic table would advance the sw idea - rustic101.com is a place near the border that does this well.

It could be fun to do a "collection" of faux antlers over the sofa (center the sofa between window n wall).

Im looking for a wagon wheel to set against the wall and old pottery to mix n match between all of our real antlers that we have :)
