So we purchased a house that has BLUE carpet, it is plush but it is still BLUE! I don't want to replace with more carpet, but I am not sure what else that I should do. The rest of the house is hardwood.

    If that blue is too blue for you, you could put down a large area rug to coordinate with your bedding. Or if you want to go to the expense, tear out the carpet and put down hardwood.
