I build custom furniture. That is fantastic! Well done!

Hubs abd I recycle and repurpose old broken furniture pieces (Not antiques.we rehab those). This is great! And btw, I love the walkway behibd yoyr planter.

Awesome! I do the same thing with old furniture I find out by our dumpsters. I love repurposing and salvaging old things.

I was rewarded this year with 2 spikes and a nice fill the room fragrance. I can’t wait for the smaller off shoots to mature enough to flower.

I have had a few Vandas over the years that were difficult to care for, but Vanda tricolor doesn’t seem to follow the rules of a typical Vanda.

The roots are free to go where every they want but stay close to the plant similar to a Phal.

It holds onto is lower leaves and is on the small side for a Vanda, this one I’ve had over 10 years and it’s about 3’ tall.

It also doesn’t need as much sun or water, mine grows in the same light as a hard cane Dendrobium and gets watered about 3 times a week.

Having the right plant in the right climate and culture is more than half the battle.
