Both Mama DTS and Solaris Symmetry are very pretty! But I think I prefer Solaris.

I confess I like Solaris best myself.

Here are some others. Am experiencing a problem with thrips so some show damage. What do you guys do about thrips?

Kate's Veined NOID - which still looks like Nowhere to Hide to me, though you tell me it can't be because of "timing" :)

Raspberry Quasar clump:

Chad Bush lists this as "unknown by unknown", but I'd lay money that Destined to See is a close relative. What do you think? :)

All the Destined to See kids were in good form here this year. Symmetry seems to have a nice flair to its bloom, with segments having a slight twist. Eyezone also seems more sharply etched.I like the Bush cultivar, even though it is quite top budded.

Alex, Solaris Symmetry is so pretty it deserved two photos! And what a nice clump of Raspberry Quasar! And yes, my noid is certainly veining for you this year! Yours shows more of the orange/yellow than mine but veining is prominent!

Solaris Symmetry looks like a winner - beautiful face and plenty of buds! I've always been a fan of Ashwood Still Night, and I suspect you're right about the parentage of Chad Bush's gorgeous Raspberry Quasar.

I do like Solaris Symetry. Destined To See has been on my favorite list for a long time. See my separate comment about thrips.

Just in case there was some confusion, Solaris Symmetry is an intro by Bremer back in 2009; I purchased it last year from Sun Dragon Daylilies. I will say that the plants I got from Brian Reeder have blooms 1-1/2" bigger and are taller than the registered size. S. S. (in my garden at any rate) is also taller than Destined to See and Raspberry Quasar. It really stands out!

Kate, I do love the veining in your NOID and hope I can incorporate it in some crosses.

Dick, I need to check out what you've said about thrips. I'm assuming that's what causes the bumps, some deformities and splotching.

Now I'll see if I can get another pic to post. Here's the first of the Rose F Kennedy x Heavenly Angel Ice seedlings, from the older seed you'd sent me, Laura. When I first germinated them, they were slow and stayed fairly small even up till planting time. But once in the ground, they did well. There are 8 in all; this one is fairly tall and has a 7-5/8" bloom. I wonder what the others will look like?

Dick - just saw your post about the damage not being caused by thrips, but possibly spider mites. Will take this up at the FB hybridizing page, because I'm seeing alot of damage, and would like to get feedback from others on how they're handling the issue. Thanks for telling us.
