sorry for the late reply Dick. I posted in my latest post and before. So they have these brown scabs on buds and scapes, and most of the buds dry out and those remaining they either can't open or open deformed flowers. Foliage looks good, though. Many are affected, in different locations, tets, dips, new(er), old, seedlings.

I will show this to Pat - she may have already seen this problem described someplace else.

Conditions not related to disease, such as too much water, not enough water, too hot, too cold, etc.

Ahh I see, thank you! I just decided to wait for the next season, and will make notes of who wasn't affected this year ))
