Catching up with Friday's and Saturday's blooms

It has been hot the past few days, but it seems to have brought the best out in the daylilies.

METAPHYSICAL MOMENT: A Lambertson that does well in my Zone 5 garden

Mary's Baby: Wonderful plant. Handles the full sun fairly well.

LIKE A SHEPHERD with ROCK CANDY to the right of it.

HOT SEAT: A wonderful Maryott that does well in Zone 5

Charlotte Roycroft: A nice bitone.

WYATT'S CAMEO: Really has a green overcast.

Webster's Pink Wonder: A great plant

MYSTERY OF THE AGES: FFEO. Has a wonderful scape

BUDDY'S BLACK LADY: Doing very well in Zone 5

BRIDGETON CORSAGE

Jedi Sue McCord: Mr. Bennett used this one in hybridizing efforts.

NIGHT WINGS: The darkest one I grow.

Wesley's Masterpiece: One of the parents to 29 Flags Over Conway.

Peppermint Pinwheel

Wesley's Masterpiece is such a unique color. It did well here this year, but not last year. Peppermint Pinwheel has been so-so here. I guess I will keep it if yours is doing well. Interesting that Buddy's Black Lady is doing well. A parent, Johnny Cash, was miserable here.

I don't know anything else in the garden that has the sheen and hue of Wesley's Masterpiece. The plant is a bit short and not as vigorous as I would like.

Seems to me that on this forum now we have a lot of lurkers, but not commenters.
