Hi dj, I have Fortunei Albopicta and I'm not sure that is what you have there. The pics on the hosta library show more curl to the leaves. Right now mine is almost solid green. Does yours green up in the summer?

Paul's Glory came to mind for me too.

I have tags saying FAP but we all know how that story goes. It’s quite yellow as it has been receiving more sun lately. Early in spring, it has totally different coloring, darker colors. I also have Paul’s Glory in shade, looks different than many pics I’ve seen.

Here is my Fortunei Albopicta

The two I have , assuming they are FAP, look pretty similar to your top photo. Your bottom photo has a twist to it, that mine never haD. Mine are old plants bought from a reputable nursery and landscape design business. I didn’t buy hostas from large box stores until Lowe’s came to our area. I started my garden in 1992. Do you think the age could make the difference? Or what do you think it could be?

barb, I would guess yours is Gold Standard. I lean towards that one even though GS and PG are very similar.

djacobs if you start your own thread it will get the attention it deserves. As Barb said though if it were Fortunei Albopicta it would have been brightly coloured in spring and solid green by now.
