Micro bugs from bamboo

We live in Florida and our new home has a back yard full of bamboo. We started cutting it down but when we do we are finding tiny black or dark spots under a couple layers of our skin that sometimes makes our skin feel tingly or almost numb but also uncomfortable at the same time. What is it?
