Master Bedroom Wall Above Bed
I'm finally getting to the master bedroom in decorating our house. In our previous home, we used an interior designer to help us with furnishing and decorating the MBR. A year later, we decided to move and I brought the MBR furniture and decor with us to our new (to us) home. In the first picture at our former home, you'll see that our bed was situated between 2 large windows so that the mirror in between looked proportional. Now our bed is on a large wall without windows. I think maybe the mirror looks a little too small now. What do you think? I'm trying to visualize keeping the mirror and maybe adding a long narrow print over each nightstand. Would that look good? Or should I get a larger round mirror? I think I might prefer a round mirror above the bed to break up all the rectangles, but another option would be to place 3 square prints over the bed and nothing above the nightstands. What do you all think?

I found a few more examples of mirrors over mirrored nightstands on Pinterest and it doesn't bother me. I will consider that idea! Thank you, Idaclaire. Plus this other idea from Pottery Barn.
PRO7 years agoYou need something to break up the huge expanse of the wall. Your headboard and the lamps are short. Do you use the lamps for reading?
Could you please post photos of the rest of the room for perspective. Is this the best wall for the bed?
These are not all your style, but give you the idea. One idea is to make this a feature wall, by adding wallpaper or painting.

7 years agoSome kind of molding on the whole of the back wall or wallpaper the entire backwall.
There are lost of different designs you could go with, below is just a sample.

Been watching you, Angel...you have some really good ideas. :)
drsaj, regarding the mirrors above the mirrored nightstands, use caution. If you look at the first Pinterest pic you showed, those mirrors are way out of proportion...they should be smaller.
If you like the molding idea, you could also do it instead of the mirrors, and use wallpaper inside. Like this (but way more fabulous, of course..)
