Yes, you could cover the openings with artwork. What are the opening sizes? If you use frame kits where you buy the sides, top and bottom separately, you may be able to get a near-perfect fit without paying for custom framing, though you may prefer to add a custom mat. Are those windows the only light you have in your office? Could you just take out the glass and have the windows open or do you need privacy in your office? Lot of questions, I know. What is across from this wall? I don't think I would put a table or bench in front of the pillar wall. At the least, I would put a small table inside the pillars and have a pretty plant on it. A pretty rug would finish out your entry ..... either a square rug or a round one.

I think they are unusual and wouldn't be my first choice, but not "awful" in the sense that I'd have to do something with them. I think the color of the glass bothers me the most, esp. with the color of the wall. I might look at window film in a color that would temper the green and just cover them up.

Or leave them, get a colorful rug and replace the art with something colorful (maybe incorporate some of the green glass color in those items) and perhaps a light fixture with more presence. If you emphasize the other elements, the windows could fade into the background more.

The entry area is 8 feet wide and the window openings are 46.4" x 29".

We have more windows on the exterior wall of the office, so we do get plenty of light in the room. We need privacy in the room, because it couples as a guest space as well. Across from the wall is our dining room.

Leave them in and purchase two rattan type window roll ups, put them on the outside of the window to cover them and people will just think it's a room with blinds.
