We have a ‘3 car garage’, a 20’x20’ (the absolute minimum for a 2 car garage) with 1 door to enter and separate 1 car garage that has built-in cabinets and is set up more for a ’work’ area, but if the cabinets were removed, a car could fit in there. Currently our first floor half-bath is in the kitchen (you enter the house through the garage into the kitchen and it’s directly on your left next to the fridge - so stupid!) and it has to go! We have the option to move it under the stairs but we’ll get one of those weird platform areas for pots or plants or we can build into the garage and make a mud room/bathroom area but take our garage from a 2 car to a 1.5 car plus the additional one. What do you think is the best resale value? HELP!
