Seriously, whenever I see a post like this I think: Heaven help the guy who accepts this job. IMO, people like 'deb' will waste countless hours, getting multiple bids. Nobody will make money on this job.

Geoffrey_b It is the right of the consumer to obtain bids for a job. Setting a budget for work must be realistic. No one in their right mind opens their door and/or wallet for a “contractor” without investigating the average cost of the work to be done. It would also be great to say that all contractors are earnest, honest, and not gender bias but obviously not.
