I'm not sure they are fatter, since they are both the same style/name. Just may look that way because they are so much shorter. I'd go to the Top Knobs web site to see if there is a downloadable spec sheet which often contains the dimensions of the diameter and the projection from the cabinet. Do that for both item #'s and compare.
