What colors will you be using in the rest of the house? Mine is open to our living room/library so I took the wall color from there and put it on the ceiling, and the ceiling color from there and put it on the wall so the rooms look different but coordinate.

Hi Annie! I wish my original post showed! In the bedrooms (not connected) we did versions of beige. The entryway opens to the main house (DR, kitchen, LR) where I want to do white to keep it open and airy. I debated also doing a white in here to match or using the opportunity to do a color. I love blue. I have lake house blue in a half bath but it would not do well here. The floor is a WIP and we hope to change to either a warm tile like travertine or do darker wood floor throughout the rest of the house. I do plan to keep the door itself white. Your house sounds lovely! I am doing the ceiling in entryway white so that will tie to the main part of house!

I recently saw a pic of a room with the walls in BM grant beige with white trim and it was really nice.
