I would call an exterminator company and most likely they will solve your spider issue etc.

Most likely this is a regular house spiders the usual location is in upper corners, around windows and under eaves, usually near some sort of a light source that usually attracts insects. They don't usually cause any harm.

You can spray with home defense and see if that helps. I dont know where you are located, but, this crazy weather the last couple of years has changed a lot of things. While I dont see hardly any spiders, there seems to be a problem with excess of mice from what I hear people around here complaining about.

Spiders are arachnids, not insects. Spraying with an insecticide can kill the bugs that feed on the spiders, causing an increase in spiders.

Ortho Home Defense will kill spiders. Spray a band around the outside of the house foundation and see if that helps. We were getting a good amount of spiders and I sprayed a band around the entire outside of the house and I haven't seen a spider since.

not looking for chemical solutions. was just wondering if it was probably the fixing of the wet siding causing it or something else.
