I'm looking for a headset microphone that our pastor can wear that does not require a cable connected to a body-pak. His vestments do not lend themselves to wearing a lavalier mic and cables don't seem to survive for long with him. I need the receiver to be compatible with a standard Mackie mixing board (XLR connection). I'm envisioning a body-pak that wirelessly receives the signal from the mic and then transmits it to a receiver next to the mixing board about 60 feet away. Is there anything similar, and affordable, out there?
