Hello,

I was hoping to get some advice on the below sketch for our kitchen remodel. Specifically:

•double wall oven placement - I’m debating over swapping the location now with where the microwave drawer is to the left of the rangetop. It seems confined where it’s at now in a walkway to the dining area, but i wonder if putting it to the left of the range will close out the kitchen too much

•rangetop across from sink - i don’t think this is a concern since it’s a rangetop with no oven, and we have 48” of space between. To make them more diagonally spaced, I was debating over moving the Kohler stages 45 sink closer to the fridge and having the sink ledge sit over the 18” trash cab. Then the 24” cab could move to the other end of the island where seats are, but then i wouldn’t have any landing space to the right of the sink ledge. If it helps, i would like to store all dishwater in the 30” drawers/cabs to the right of the range. Seems to be the most ergonomic location.

•microwave drawer placement in general - i would think the it would require being under a counter, so maybe place it on the far right cabinet run? It will mostly just be used for reheating/popcorn, so i would think it would want to be near the fridge/pantry.

Any help with the above, or if you notice anything else you would like to suggest, would be greatly appreciated. This is part of a kitchen extension (all the space from the left of the range top to the right is being added) and we are in the early design phase.
