Cinnabar moth pupa

last modified: 7 years ago

Hello
We found a cinnabar caterpillar on our fan indoors and decided to put in a container with soil and watch it transform hopefully (I followed many steps to hopefully give it the right things it needs) it ate half a leaf then a day after it buried itself and turned into pupa and has been like that for 4 days now. My main concern is if it's alive or not and from reading I know your ment to just leave them alone? I don't feel comfortable with "bending it" and all that I've read to do I would rather leave it be. Just would of liked any information really about it as we have no experience with them really. I have pictures also. Thanks
