How is the blue stone planter boxes made? Is the stone stacked ?

Can't tell if this is stack of blue stone or a glued facade front to another box using Blue stone?

    Thank you for your question, the core construction is concrete block. The blue stone is 2 inch deep strips custom cut in varying widths, veneered on the concrete core.
