I would put art over the console.

I would go also with wall art instead mirror.

if you do art over the console as suggested you could then do a horizontal mirror on the dining room wall.

Art, large art if possible.

Hi. I recommend using art over the console. I'd set the seating area with a sofa and the 2 chairs and add a rug.

Do you want color in the space or are you looking for a neutral palette? What style do you want to achieve? Thanks!

@CDR Design,LLC thanks for the advice. I’m looking for some color and as far as what style, I’m still trying to figure that out ;). Any advice would be helpful.

I'd use your rug and sitting area chairs as a jumping off point. I sense that you are more transitional, but ready for some color. Here are some beginning ideas. Hope this helps! You could have a more muted look or go with bolder blues and greens. I would also recommend searching houzz for living rooms and dining rooms and adding those to your ideabook that you like. Then, you will know the direction in which you want to go. The next step is setting up a floor plan. Finally, finding the right products. Hope you have the best day!

The blue looks good also, but half that dining room resembles a dying coral reef. I'm not sure how best to improve that short of changing the rug and the upholstery on the chairs.

I would do a painting over console and a round mirror on The wall between the windows!

Skip the mirror. That room is very bland and uninteresting at the moment, and a nirror won't help. Art, and lots of it, and a more colorful rug, would be my srptarting points.

CDR Design- where is the art from? Thank you.

Here you go. https://www.greatbigcanvas.com/view/whispering-winds,1056601/?s=ZjpJ0YZfOqwa3NMayxv1YZ1FZn4JjJ1and2LjiY8vD9WdkUcS3Vevr1EYSHWKy

I agree some sort of art over the console. A couple options.

We offer a wide range of award winning wall art and photography you may like at http://mndphoto.com

C Mtz, the art Hubby is gallantly holding up between the windows is too large and the wrong aspect ratio. Piece that goes there should probably be square.

Already said that neutrals and bare windows enter into it - seems that art in both places would add alot, and no mirrors there... unless wall paint or curtains add.

You could use more bulk on the wall where the console is so I gave you a sideboard.

Thank you all your responses. I’m also thinking of getting dining chairs reupholstered. Any ideas?

If you add color in other areas, I don't think is it necessary.

Bit rustic, but see that you like texture of basket...? :)
